Niall Canavan has signed a new three year contract with Championship side Scunthorpe United. The Iron Centre back has signed an improved deal following his successes in the season just closed.

Niall Canavan scored his first senior goal in the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest at Glandford Park. The big centre back scored from close range in the final game of the season for Scunthorpe to cap a great season of progress which has seen Niall make 4 Championship and 2 cup starts along with a number of league sub appearances.

Emile Sinclair has signed a new two year contract with Macclesfield Town following a strong goalscoring end to the season. Despite interest in the Nottingham born striker Emile has chosen to commit for a further period in order to maintain the surroundings that have seen him progress so well this year.
